s defensive end had a hilarious response after finding his look-alike.Said person is Matt Betz, a defensive lineman at West Liberty (W. Va.) University. Per the Random College Athletes Twitter account — an excellent follow — Betz played for the Hilltoppers from 2008-13, which briefly coincided with Watt's college career. The latter spent a year in residence at Wisconsin in 2008 after transferring from Central Michigan, before playing two seasons for the Badgers in 2009 and '10. The resemblance is definitely noticeable — though, as Watt mentioned, not quite perfect:“can I copy your homework?”“yeah, just change it up a little so it doesn’t look like you copied” https://t.co/O5NATLdW3t— JJ Watt (@JJWatt) June 25, 2021MORE: Watt reveals the insane way he ensured no one leaked his Cardinals signing Betz took the comment in stride, reacting to Watt's joke:Yeah that's me 😂😂— Matthew Betz (@MatthewBetz8) June 25, 2021Betz also retweeted several other jokes about his and Watt's resemblance.Per West Liberty's team site, Betz finished his playing career as a redshirt senior in 2012 (after redshirting in 2011). He is credited with playing in 40 games over his five-year career, totaling 114 tackles (21.5 for loss), 13.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries and three passes defensed. That's not too bad when compared to Watt's college stats — 106 tackles (36.5 for loss), 11.5 sacks — though it's worth remembering Watt only played in three seasons. Based on West Liberty's site, Betz also has a significant height disadvantage (6-0 to Watt's 6-5) and weighs slightly less than the NFL star.
