The teams announced March 1 that general manager Jon Daniels and chief operating officer Rick George had been promoted with new presidential titles. Ryan had been president and CEO before the moves.The Hall of Famer is part of the team's ownership group, Rangers Baseball Express, which bough the franchise on Aug. 12, 2010.
